PR&vD provides custom fabrication, product development, manufacturing, and sales and marketing services for museum art and design objects, custom interior design installations, and innovative interior design product concepts. They have produced work that is in the collections of MAK Vienna, SF Moma, and the Art Institute of Chicago. We have a gallery in Lexington KY, where they are experimenting with approaches to encourage artists and industrial designers around the world to innovate by creating new and more profitable ways for them to produce and market their work.
PR&vD principals are:
Drura Parrish
Drura Parrish’s professional and academic endeavors include architecture, industrial design, urban design, as well as strategy and concept development. He has co-founded a design consulting firm, pre-development services firm, as well as serving as a director for a fabrication and logistic consulting firm. He has published, exhibited, and lectured internationally.
Drura earned a B.A in Psychology and Art History from Depaul University, a Masters in Architecture from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a post professional Masters in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. He has taught at the Southern California Institute of Architecture graduate and post graduate programs. Currently, he is teaching at the University of Kentucky in the College of Design.
Timothy Rives Rash II
Rives Rash received a B.A. in Architecture from the Architecture School of Design at the University of Virginia and Masters in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Upon receiving his Masters, he was pivotal in the development of Hernan Diaz Alonso’s award winning architecture practice Xefirotarch. Additionally, Rives was a project manager at Eric Owen Moss Architects.
Rives developed a high end metal fabrication facility in El Segundo, which then led to the co-founding of a custom fabrication consulting business. He has collaborated with many of the worlds leading artists and designers. Additionally, Rives has served critical posts in important research institutions and currently is teaching at the University of Kentucky in the College of Design.
Bart van Dissel
Dr. van Dissel is a former Harvard Business School professor and McKinsey consultant who has over 20 years of experience as an executive, investor, and consultant for start-ups and as a consultant to Fortune 500 C-level executives on strategy, operations, sales and marketing, organization, and information technology. Start-up experience includes launching companies, developing business plans, valuations, structuring strategic partner deals, raising capital and leading selective due diligence reviews as an ongoing member of an angel investor group.
Bart earned an MBA, Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science, and PhD in Strategy and Organization from Duke University and a BA in English/Contemporary Comparative Literature from Harvard College.
